Cleveland "The New American City" !!!

  For several years Cleveland has been listed among the top 10 American cities for quality of life. A variety of affordable housing options are located close to the university and most neighborhoods have at least one park within walking distance. The world famous Cleveland Orchestra is housed in the newly restored Severance Hall in University Circle. During the summer, the Blossom and Cain Park pavilions offer an extensive variety of outdoor concerts featuring classical, popular, and folk music in a casual setting. Theater life is very rich in Cleveland with many companies performing in theaters restored to their turn of the century splendor. The Flats, a restored warehouse district, contains a variety of waterfront restaurants and night clubs. In addition to the Rock-and-Roll Hall of Fame and the Great Lakes Interactive Science Center, Cleveland has numerous museums including the Cleveland Museum of Art which is nationally recognized for both the breadth and depth of its collection.
    
  Cleveland also has three major league sports teams, the Indians (baseball), Cavaliers (basketball) and Browns (football) all housed in new, state-of-the-art stadiums. The Emerald Necklace and Canal Tow-Path, are a series of parks along the Cuyahoga, Chagrin and Rocky Rivers which provide year-round outdoor activities via biking, hiking, horse and cross-country ski trails. Several breeding pairs of peregrine falcons now nest in Cleveland and bald eagles and wild turkeys frequent the Metroparks.
